Evaluation: Personally, I think this book is
amazing. I love the simplicity of it,
yet the fact that it’s so extraordinary at the same time. The author only using
one color along with black and white helps to display the setting as well as
allow for children’s imaginations to run wild. This book is cleaver, unique,
and definitely entertaining, all without words.
Rating:
I would give this wordless picture book 5/5 stars without a doubt.
I know Suzy Lee's other book The Wave. I will have to check out this one since you speak so highly of it in your post!
ReplyDeleteI really liked The Wave, too. All of her books are formatted similarly, I just really liked the adventurous story line of Shadow!
